Unit 1. Up and About
Chapter 1
1-1: Johnny's position at the Lampham household is that he is the boss of the attic and almost of the house to Dove and Dusty.
1-2: Dove feels that Johnny is always telling him to do even thought johnny is younger.
Chapter 3
3-1:Johnny is pretty serious about his work, he is very good at is job and likes it very much.In the future Johnny whats to have his own silversmith shop.
3-2:the people do not like the patriots ways because they talk to much and the patriots do not read the bible and how they control the U.S.
Chapter 4
4-1:the feelings that johnny has about his work are very good because it shows he is a hard worker.
Chapter 6
6-1:it was like the eye coming out of the sea.

Unit 2:the pride of your power
Chapter 1
1-1:he turns down his offer because he did not what to leave the Laphams.
Chapter 3
3-1: Johnny was working and slipped and feel into a bunch of hot silver.
Chapter 5
5-1:it made him sad and he whated to always be alone and his hand gets stuck together

Unit 3: An earth of brass
Chapter 1
1-1:Rab does not react to johnny's hand.P.62
Chapter 3
3-1:I think the title 'Earth of Brass' relates very well to johnny's life because of his job and how much he likes it.

Unit 4: the rising eye
Chapter 1
1-1:That he is rich and no one whats to be around him.
Chapter 2
2-1:The Whigs declaring that taxation without representation is tyranny. The Tories thought it should be settled with time,patience,and respect for government.
Chapter 5
5-1:One of the punishment was being hanged.
5-2:The courts decision was that johnny did not steal the cup.

Unit 5: the Boston Observer
Chapter 2
2-1:Johnny's responsibilities as a messenger are to deliver papers to people around town. when he delivers a paper to someone who does not live in the city, he can tell them what is going on for the Whigs.
Chapter 3 and 4
3/4-1:He thinks about how much he loves his new life and his new best friend, Rab. Johnny’s one complaint is that Rab is too self-contained.
3/4-2:People tend to live up to there expectations because they want to make the people proud.
3/4- Rab tells Johnny that he should not always keep his hand in his pocket and to always go with the flow.
3/4-4:The Observers is treasonous because they what to stop tax on tea.

Unit 6: Salt-Water Tea
Chapter 5:
5-1:Johnny needed to be able to use an ax. So he had to practice using an ax with his left hand.

Unit 7: The Fiddler's Bill
Chapter 1:
1-1:The punishment for the colonists by giving them a bill for all the tea that was threw into the ocean , and they would not let any ships in the port.
1-2:the high taxes united the colonists.
Chapter 2:
2-1:The Whigs let the people print treasonous statements because they thought that all that had happened would go away over time.
Chapter 3:
3-1:the Lieutenant is not mad because he thought that the horse was a bad horse for his commander
3-2:everyone thinks more of him know, so he protected Dove.
Chapter 4:
4-1:Johnny's feelings have change by that he miss Mrs. Lampham and feels sorry for her.
Chapter 5:
5-1:Sam Adams' spy in the Lyte Household is Mrs. Bessie.

Unit 8: A World to Come
Chapter 1:
1-1:Because the Lytes are Tories and merchants.
Chapter 2:
2-1:Johnny found out that his relationship was closer then ever before.
2-2:The events that johnny is talking about are when they are going threw the house and closing everything.
Chapter 5:
5-1:He wanted freedom form the British.


Unit 9: The Scarlet Deluge
Chapter 1:
1-1:The Scarlet Deluge is a network of spys.
Chapter 3:
3-1:He has become somting that then want he thought he would be.
3-2:They are getting guns,ammo,and they were making there own gunpowder.
Chapter 5:
5-1:He feels compassionate for them

Unit 10: 'Disperse,Ye Rebels'
Chapter 1:
1-1:They see the British Shapipsng there barnets.
1-2:If the British our on land it is one flash, if they are on water it is two flashes.
Chapter 2:
2-1:Rab does not want to go to war.Johnny is sad about Rab leving.


Unit 11:Yankee Doodle
Chapter 1:
1-1:The frist battle was in Lexigton. The minute men were defeated because they only had 70 troops and the British had 700 men.
Chapter 3:
3-1:The leaders were not there.
Chapter 4:
4-1:Johnny's hand is what conviced Lavinia to find out about johnny's past.
Chapter 5:
5-1:Johnny becomes a man when war comes,but is only a boy when there is no war.


Unit 12:A man can stand up
Chapter 1:
1-1:Johnny put on a British uniform.
Chapter 2:
2-1:Johnny is amazed because he thought the British could not be stoped.
Chapter 3:
3-1:Johnny is stunnd at all the British at Lexington Green.
Chapter 5:
5-1:Rab dies because of a gun shot. Johnny is mad that Rab died.
5-2:He is not ashamed of his hand anymore because it has heeled some and the doctor was able to make his thumb work again.
